Holm is a performing artist. Her works are playfully critical, conceptual and often site specific, in forms as theatre, performance, actionist practices, text and visual art. She has participated in numerous Norwegian and international collaborations in addition to individual work and solo performances, and is a former member of the artist collective Baktruppen (1987 – 2011).

Holm is a research fellow at Norwegian Theatre Academy (NTA)/ Østfold University College, in the Norwegian Artistic Research Program (NARP) with Space Automatism(2015 – 2019), a series of non-hierarchical works on what place and context do to content and method, explored through object oriented forms, and with space itself as the protagonist.
